Your list is your business
Privacy, plainly.
AnxietyTODO doesn’t run a task-data cloud, sell advertising, or require an account with us.
Your local tasks
In local mode, task titles, list names, identifiers, creation and completion dates, and preferences are stored on your Mac in the app’s storage. AnxietyTODO does not send that data to a developer-operated server.
Optional Apple Reminders access
If you enable Reminders mode, macOS asks for permission to access Apple Reminders. AnxietyTODO reads your editable lists and reminders and can create, rename, complete, restore, or delete items when you request those actions. It keeps a local cache for display.
Reminders synchronization is handled by the accounts configured for your lists, such as iCloud, under those providers’ terms and privacy policies. Your task data is not routed through this product website.
You may choose to import local tasks into Reminders. Your original local tasks remain saved. Switching back to local mode does not delete reminders or revoke permission. You can change permission in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Reminders.
No app analytics or advertising
The app includes no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, publisher-operated accounts, or publisher-operated task-sync service. The publisher does not collect task content through the app or use the app to track you.
Diagnostic reporting handled by macOS or Apple is governed by your Apple settings and Apple’s privacy policy.
This website
This is a static product and support website. It has no signup form, advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or website cookies set by its own code. Fonts and product images are served by the same website rather than fetched from third-party services.
The interactive preview uses sample tasks and keeps changes only in the current page’s memory. It does not connect to Apple Reminders, persist tasks in browser storage, or send preview task titles to the publisher. Reloading the page resets it.
To deliver and secure this website, the hosting server may process ordinary request information such as an IP address, requested page, time, and browser information. This is separate from your Mac app’s task data.
When you contact support
If you email bburdick@gmail.com, Benjamin Burdick receives your email address and whatever you choose to send. Support email is handled through Gmail and is subject to Google’s email-service practices. Please avoid sending personal task contents unless necessary to explain a problem.
Contact Benjamin at the same address with questions about support correspondence or to request its deletion.
Changes and questions
This policy will be updated if the app or website’s data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
